What Are Your Favorite Memories of Heidi Tatum Kreger?
The Evergreen Elementary teacher passed away unexpectedly May 10, nine days after she was diagnosed with Leukemia. Hundreds of people gathered in Santa Rosa this weekend to remember her.
Friends and family packed Santa Rosa's Glaser Center Saturday for Heidi Tatum Kreger's memorial. The Press Democrat is reporting today that the memorial drew a crowd that left standing room only.
Kreger, a 16-year veteran teacher, most recently at Evergreen Elementary, , just nine days after she was diagnosed with Leukemia.
Friends and family called Kreger — also known locally as "Wonderwoman" — a selfless teacher who ignited passion in those lives that she touched, even citing concern that she had for her class the day she passed away.
