SAN DIEGO, CA — We've rounded up the stories you may have missed over the weekend to prepare you for the week ahead.
But before we jump into Southern California's top stories, residents should expect a warming trend and weaker Santa Ana winds this week, according to the National Weather Service. Much of Southern California is under a wind advisory through Monday afternoon.
"Moderate to locally strong Santa Ana winds will continue along the coastal mountain slopes, foothills, and into the valleys through Monday," NWS San Diego forecasters wrote Sunday. "Periods of weaker Santa Ana winds will continue through the remainder of the week. A warming trend continues, with temperatures peaking around the middle of the week. Wednesday and Thursday will likely be the warmest days."

In other news, a man was found dead after an FBI standoff; a U-Haul truck plowed into a crowd of protesters; a deputy was served a cup of coffee with a pig drawing; and two women from Southern California were busted for cocaine at an airport.
