SAN FRANCISCO — As the weekend wraps up, we've rounded up all the stories you may have missed Saturday and Sunday to prepare you for Monday.

But before we jump into Northern California’s top stories: After a barrage of lightning strikes across the Bay Area on Saturday, NorCal is looking at a cool and calm streak of weather. The pattern change will see temps falling a few degrees below average across the interior with Tuesday poised to be the coolest day of the week.

"Expect a cooling trend for both Monday and Tuesday with temperatures plateauing for the rest of the week," NWS Bay Area wrote Sunday. "Mornings will offer plenty of coastal cloud cover and pockets of fog with mostly clear conditions each afternoon through the next week."
