NORTHERN CALIFORNIA — As we head into the new week, we've rounded up the stories you may have missed Saturday and Sunday to prepare you for Monday.
But before we jump into Northern California's top stories, residents should expect mostly clear and sunny skies Monday, but rain could return this week to the San Francisco Bay Area, according to the National Weather Service.
"Gusty offshore winds continue today through early Tuesday morning across the higher elevations of the Bay Area," NWS San Francisco forecasters wrote Monday. "Slight chance for rain midweek with better rain chances Friday into the early part of next week."

In other news, a fully clothed adult was rescued by bystanders and rescue swimmers at San Francisco's Ocean Beach, according to the San Francisco Fire Department.
Two unnamed men died after a shooting incident at a bowling alley parking lot, police said. One of the men died at the scene, while the other was taken to a nearby hospital, where he later died.

Plus, a teenager was arrested on accusations of vehicular manslaughter, after crashing his car into an occupied security booth, killing one of the guards inside, authorities said. One of the security guards was pronounced dead at the scene. The other was taken to a hospital with major injuries.
