1 Person Killed In I-880 Crash: CHP
The crash happened early Thursday morning. All southbound lanes have reopened for the morning commute.
HAYWARD, CA — At least one person was killed in a six-vehicle crash on southbound Interstate Highway 880 in Hayward early Thursday morning, the California Highway Patrol said.
The CHP said the wreck happened near the West A Street offramp at 1 a.m.
A sig-alert was issued at 2 a.m. to clear all vehicles involved in the collision.

By 3:30 a.m., all lanes were cleared and reopened, the CHP said.
