2 Arrested In Connection With June Homicide In San Leandro

SAN LEANDRO, CA— Two individuals, Devin Stevenson and Ebony Cook, were arrested Wednesday in connection with a June homicide near the REACH Ashland Youth Center, according to the Alameda County Sheriff’s Office.

Stevenson was arrested on suspicion of murder, while Cook was arrested on suspicion of being an accessory.

The June 15 shooting claimed the life of 23-year-old Darrion Johnson.

The arrests were made by BART Police following warrants issued by the Sheriff’s Office.

Authorities continue to investigate the case.
