'BBQ & Badges' Is A Day Of ‘Community, Safety and Fun’
Meet your local police officers at the San Leandro Police Department's "BBQ & Badges" event.
SAN LEANDRO, CA — San Leandro police are hosting a "BBQ & Badges" event Saturday, and the community is welcome to attend, the San Leandro Police Department announced Friday.
The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the San Leandro Police Department's headquarters.
In addition to BBQ, there will be other food items, plus family-friendly games and activities and police equipment displays and demos.

Free ring cameras will also be distributed at the event to San Leandro residents, the department said. Those interested in getting a ring camera should bring an identification card (such as a driver’s license) and a copy of a utility bill with their San Leandro address on it.
“Come meet your San Leandro Police Department and enjoy a day of community, safety, and fun,” said the San Leandro PD.
