SAN LEANDRO, CA — San Leandro’s Mulford-Marina Library Branch is about to undergo a major renovation, city officials announced Thursday.

The branch is tripling its space from 1,200 sq. ft. to 3,600 sq. ft. The gain of 2,400 sq. ft. will provide more room for books, programs and visitors.

The intention is to “build a bigger, bolder Mulford Branch—designed with [the] community in mind,” according to library staff.
