SAN LEANDRO, CA — The off-ramp from northbound Interstate Highway 880 to eastbound Marina Boulevard was blocked for two-and-a-half hours Tuesday afternoon by an overturned box truck. It has since reopened.

Although the truck was only blocking an off-ramp and not the main lanes of the interstate, traffic backed up from Marina Boulevard all the way to the I-238 interchange.

The truck had been fully loaded when it overturned. It also leaked an initially unknown liquid.
