Railroad Maintenance To Be Completed Saturday, More Planned
Halcyon Drive will reopen between Washington Avenue and Olivia Street Saturday.
SAN LEANDRO, CA — Maintenance on a rail line in San Leandro will be completed Saturday, which will allow Halcyon Drive to reopen between Washington Avenue and Olivia Street, Union Pacific officials said.
Union Pacific is removing and then installing new rail and ties near 14400 Washington Ave. The project started earlier this week.
The Hesperian Boulevard railroad crossing near Springlake Drive will be closed next month to allow for more maintenance. That closure is planned for Sept. 8 -12.
