San Leandro Asks For Blood Donations This Weekend
A blood drive is taking place in San Leandro Saturday, and city officials are asking residents to help save a life with their donation.
SAN LEANDRO, CA – The City of San Leandro is holding an event where showing up and donating can make all the difference.
In partnership with the American Red Cross, San Leandro officials have scheduled a blood drive at the Church of Christ Saturday, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
“One pint is all it takes! If you could save three lives with just one hour of your time, would you do it? That’s what one pint of blood can do,” the city posted on Instagram.

The Church of Christ is located at 601 MacArthur Blvd., San Leandro. The blood drive will take place in the church’s Fellowship Hall.
