San Leandro Man Arrested In Connection With Fatal Stockton Shooting: Police

The shooting early Dec. 14 left a man dead and a woman injured, police said.

SAN LEANDRO, CA — A 47-year-old San Leandro man has been arrested in connection with a shooting in Stockton that left one person dead and another injured, police said.

Police say San Leandro resident Devon Hardy is suspected of taking part in a shooting during the early hours of Dec. 14 in the 300 block of S. Wilson Way in Stockton, where a 24-year-old man and a 28-year-old woman were wounded.

Both victims were taken to a local hospital following the shooting, where the man died from his injuries, according to the Stockton Police Department. The woman, meanwhile, suffered non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

Hardy and 48-year-old Swavette Wilson were identified by police as suspects in the deadly shooting and arrested in the following weeks.
