Xclusive Speed Donates Toys, Canned Goods To People in Need

SAN LEANDRO, CA — The San Leandro community came out in full force, donating more than 350 canned goods and toys during Xclusive Speed Sports Performance Training's food and toy drive Sunday, Dec. 18.

Xclusive Speed donated the toys from the drive, held at Held at Coaches Court, 1369 MacArthur Boulevard in San Leandro, to the Oakland Police Department to distribute to children in need. The canned goods were donated to the Fremont Food Bank to help feed the hungry this holiday season.

“I am grateful for the community’s support in helping make our first-ever food and toy drive a success," Giles Chapman, CEO and founder of Xclusive Speed, said. "Xclusive Speed is proud to help spread holiday cheer to those in need, ensuring they have toys under the tree and a warm meal.”

Kilan McCardie, director of Social Media for Xclusive Speed, said that the company always strives to go above and beyond for the community.

"We couldn't do it without the abundant support from our team," McCardie said. "It's important to leave a mark on the Bay Area, and we're doing our very best to make that happen day in and day out."

In addition to thanking the community for its participation in the drive, Chapman said he was grateful to Coaches Court for donating the space to hold the drive.

“Xclusive Speed thanks Coaches Court for donating their facility to help make the food and toy drive possible," Chapman said.

In October, Xclusive Speed held its first-annual coat and blanket to help keep children in the Bay Area warm during the winter. Community members contributed 200+ coats and 50+ blankets, which Xclusive Speed donated to Oakland Elizabeth House and other charities in the Bay Area.
