Youth-Centered Organization To Host Job Fair

The Boys and Girls Clubs of San Leandro invites the community to attend its job fair this weekend.

SAN LEANDRO, CA — The Boys & Girls Clubs of San Leandro is hosting a job fair Saturday, and those interested in working for the organization are welcome to attend.

At the job fair, scheduled from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m., individuals age 18 and older can apply for a part-time staff position as part of the BGCSL youth development team.

“Help create a safe, fun, and inclusive after-school environment where middle school youth can learn, grow, and build their confidence,” said the BGCSL team. “Through engaging activities and mentorship, you’ll be a vital part of their academic success and social-emotional development.”

The organization offers afterschool programs, summer camps, club sports and recreation programs. Its mission is “to inspire and enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens,” according to its leadership team.

The event will take place at the BGCSL Teen Clubhouse, 2200 San Leandro Blvd., San Leandro.
