I-680 Shooting Suspect Arrested In San Ramon: CHP
California Highway Patrol and San Ramon police officers arrested a man accused of a shooting on I-680 near Alcosta Boulevard.
SAN RAMON, CA — The California Highway Patrol arrested a 42-year-old man accused of shooting at another car on I-680 north of Alcosta Boulevard Sunday, according to the CHP Golden Gate Division Special Investigations Unit.
On Sunday at about 5:33 p.m., CHP Dublin Area officers received a 911 call reporting a non-injury freeway shooting, police said. Moments later, the San Ramon Police Department observed a vehicle in the Gateway Centre Parking lot on San Ramon Valley Boulevard that matched the description and initiated an enforcement stop, according to the San Ramon Police Department.
Officers from CHP Dublin arrested Lee Brandon O’Conner, 42, of Foresthill, in connection with the shooting. Officers also say they found a firearm in O’Conner’s car. O’Conner was booked into the Martinez Detention Facility for attempted murder and various weapons charges.

No one was hurt in the shooting, police said.
