Friday Foreign Film Series Debuts In San Ramon

SAN RAMON, CA — With its multicultural festivals and restaurants, San Ramon offers visitors and residents many opportunities to travel around the world without ever leaving town. Now, many more first-class virtual travel tickets are on offer thanks to the Friday Foreign Film Series, which began last Friday.

Each Friday at 7 p.m. until Feb. 23, the Dougherty Valley Performing Arts Center will screen a different East Asian film. Individual tickets cost $12 per person plus ticketing fees, while the Foreign Film Series Package costs $44 plus ticketing fees.

Upcoming films include:

• Feb. 9: Scent of the Green Papaya
• Feb. 16: In the Mood for Love
• Feb. 23: Treeless Mountain
