San Ramon Police Find Over $326K In Stolen Retail Goods
San Ramon police and other agencies arrested suspects accused of running an organized fencing ring that has stolen from San Ramon stores.

SAN RAMON, CA — The San Ramon Police Department collaborated with other agencies to recover approximately $326,693 in stolen retail items from an Oakland fencing operation, the department announced.
The investigation began in November, when San Ramon police arrested two women on suspicion of stealing over $13,000 in cosmetic products from the Sephora at City Center, according to the San Ramon Police Department. The department’s Organized Retail Theft Suppression Team investigated and linked the thefts to an organized fencing operation in Oakland.
On Wednesday, San Ramon police officers joined with San Mateo sheriff’s deputies and officers from the CHP Organized Retail Crime Task Force to execute multiple search warrants at three locations. During these searches, authorities say they found approximately $326,693 in stolen products from Walgreens, CVS, Walmart, Kohls, TJMaxx, Safeway, RiteAid, and Sunglass Hut. Investigators also seized $12,196 from the operation.
