San Ramon Student Offering Two New App Coding Workshops

DVHS senior and accepted UC Berkeley engineering student Fatimah Hussain is running workshops for beginner and experienced coders.

SAN RAMON, CA — Dougherty Valley senior and incoming UC Berkeley engineering student Fatimah Hussain is running two iOS app development workshops for students in grades 3-9 from April 21 to May 26.

Hussain has started a number of websites and apps, including Perky 3D Prints and UnicornLock, a CAD and 3D printing business; BluWings Technologies LLC, an app development startup; and 2 Min Maths!, a YouTube channel with math instruction.

She has spoken at two TEDx conferences, worked with Stanford, and received the Gold Presidential Service Award and Outstanding Teen Citizenship Award. See her website and LinkedIn profile to learn more about her experience.

She is running two six-week workshops from April 21 to May 26. The “Code Your First iOS App” is tailored toward beginners, and costs $60 a session. “Code Complex iOS App Games” is tailored toward experienced coders, and costs $65 a session.
