San Ramon Student To Sing At Carnegie Hall
Accomplished singer Shiven Aggarwal will join 50 other finalists for Carnegie Hall's Honors Performance Series.

SAN RAMON, CA — A bass vocalist at the Dougherty Valley High School Chamber Singers will sing at Carnegie Hall.
Shiven Aggarwal will join 50 other finalists for Carnegie Hall’s Honors Performance Series from Nov. 7-11. Participation in the choir is limited to the most talented performers in the world.
Aggarwal has studied classical voice, music theory, solfege, performance choir, and piano for eight years. He studied classical voice and theater performance at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music’s Pre-College Program, and has performed with the San Francisco Opera Guild.

“Being selected to the Honors Performance Series is something each Finalist should be extremely proud of accomplishing,” said Marion Gomez, Music Director for the Honors Performance Series. “We processed nearly 10,000 nominations this year and have selected the most talented student performers from around the world. Working with these conductors and performing at these renowned music halls is a once-in-a-lifetime experience that these musicians will never forget.”
