Series of Earthquakes Rattle The Bay Area Monday Morning: Did You Feel Them?
The latest quake struck around 9:07 a.m.
SAN RAMON, CA — A series of earthquakes struck the San Ramon area Monday morning, the largest reaching 3.7 in magnitude.
The shaking began with a 2.9 magnitude earthquake around 2:33 a.m. That was followed by a 3.0 earthquake at 5:21 a.m. and two more under 2.8 followed over the next few hours.
The largest in the series, which reached 3.7, jolted the San Ramon area around 9:07 a.m.

The jolts were felt across the Bay Area, with people reporting feeling the shaking in Castro Valley, Pleasanton and Walnut Creek, Oakland and Livermore and as far as Nipomo, according to the USGS.
