SRV School Board Takes First Step Toward a New Bond Measure
The San Ramon Valley School District board approved a district survey to gauge the interest in a facilities bond measure Friday morning.

In a special meeting Friday morning, the San Ramon Valley School District Board of Education took its first step to possibly putting a bond measure on the June ballot.
The board unanimously approved a survey of 600 random district voters to gauge interest in the measure, which would help fund school facilities. The telephone survey is being done by EMC Research Inc. and the district says it will cost about $25,000.
No final determination has yet been made if there will or will not be a measure, but the board is moving quickly in case they want it on the June ballot. The results of the survey will help the board decide if the bond measure would be worth pursuing, said district communication director Terry Koehne.
