In honor of Words Matter Week, running from March 2nd to March 8th, Starbucks at Diablo Plaza in San Ramon teamed up with a group of enthusiastic students from Coyote Creek Elementary to spread extra cheer throughout the community. The school principal, Bill Alpert, was all for it!
Starbucks, known for writing uplifting messages on customers' cups every day, invited the kids to create their own cheerful messages and designs on cup sleeves and stickers. The students wrote encouraging phrases like, “You’re a star!” “Be you!” and "Shine bright!"
They were excited to take part in this heartwarming project, knowing their artwork and messages would brighten someone’s day. Store Manager, Kim Bellomo, perfectly captured everyone’s feelings: “It has filled our cup with so much joy!” This collaboration showcased how even the smallest gestures can have a big impact!
