Tri-Valley Robotics Team Triumphs Again, This Time on Global Stage
San Ramon and Dublin students shine at FLL Western Edge Open 2024, Long Beach CA.

Tri-Valley Robotics proved their robotic prowess once again, this time at the prestigious 2024 Western Edge Open in Long Beach, CA.
The team’s ingenuity and teamwork shone brightest during the on-the-spot challenge at the 2024 Western Edge Open. Tasked with completing a series of complex missions in a single day, the team rallied, working tirelessly through the night. Their dedication paid off with flawless execution, achieving scores above 150 and securing a well-deserved first-place finish against formidable competition from 90 teams representing over 30 countries.
The road to international success began on March 31st when Tri-Valley Robotics outperformed 35 other teams to capture the championship award at the FLL NorCal Regional Championship in Palo Alto, CA on March 31, 2024. This outstanding victory earned them a coveted spot at the 2024 Western Edge Open, held at the Long Beach Convention Center from May 31st to June 2nd, where they continued to make their mark on the global robotics stage.

Mentored by 2 excellent coaches, this team of 10 dedicated students in grades 5 through 8 from San Ramon and Dublin, CA embody the spirit of collaboration and innovation. The team's ability to work together seamlessly, problem-solve on the fly, and celebrate each other's successes is a true testament to the core values of FIRST LEGO League.
