Santa Cruz County Businesses Eligible For $2500 Microgrants

Santa Cruz County is awarding 105 $2500 micrograms to eligible businesses around the county.

SANTA CRUZ, CA — Small businesses in Santa Cruz County affected by the coronavirus pandemic are eligible for $2,500 microgrants that do not need to be paid back. A total of 105 awards will be given out. The first round of applications received in the month of June will be reviewed in July. If there are more than 105 awardees, funds will be granted through a lottery system.

Eligible businesses:

  • Are located in Santa Cruz County.
  • Have been in business since December 2019.
  • Have made less than $50,000 gross revenue in 2019.
  • Have been “Significantly impacted” by the COVID-19 pandemic.
  • Are currently in business or plan to reopen.
  • Have less than 5 full-time employees.
  • Did not receive a CA Grant through Lendistry.

Applicants do not need to be U.S. citizens.
