Duck Donuts Opens First LA Food Hall In Santa Monica
Foodies looking for delicious made-to-order donuts are in luck as the donut shop opened its doors at a food hall in Santa Monica.

SANTA MONICA, CA — Santa Monica residents and visitors looking to try warm and delicious made-to-order donuts are in luck as Duck Donuts announced it opened its first food hall location in the city.
The donut company's first location in Los Angeles, and fifth in the Golden State, opened in partnership with digital ordering food hall Kitchen United located at 1315 3rd St. Until March 8, Duck Donuts is open with limited hours from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m., but after March 9 it will be open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
"We’re excited to continue expanding our California presence with the opening of our newest location in Santa Monica, the first Duck Donuts in Los Angeles County," said Owner Gary Kopel. "With a variety of food establishments to choose from, including warm, made-to-order donuts and coffee from Duck Donuts, the Kitchen United MIX food hall caters to any foodie’s needs."

Kitchen United's Santa Monica food hall allows foodies to order meals from multiple restaurants with different styles of cuisine all on the same bill.
Guests have the option to order in person at the Duck Donuts shop, at digital kiosks or at third-party delivery apps like DoorDash and Postmates. Indoor and patio seating is available throughout the food hall for guests to relax as they eat.

“Partnering with Kitchen United gives our growing brand the opportunity to provide a unique and convenient experience for our guests and restaurant-goers alike,” said Eric Lavinder, Duck Donuts chief development officer. “Where food meets technology and real estate, this location will help us continue to increase brand awareness and introduce our superior product to those on the West Coast.”
Duck Donuts opened its first locations in North Carolina in 2007 and prides itself on offering, "a duckzillion donut combinations." The donut shop franchise has more than 115 locally owned shops throughout the world including the United States and Puerto Rico, Canada, Egypt and Saudi Arabia.
