Snapchat Parent Company Closes 1 of 3 CA Offices: Report

The Santa Monica-based social media giant closed its 33,000 square foot office in downtown San Francisco.

SANTA MONICA, CA — Snap Inc., parent company to social media giant Snapchat, is closing its massive downtown San Francisco office space, one of three California locations, SF Gate reported.

The company still maintains two other California offices in Santa Monica and Mountain View, but has suffered through layoffs, restructuring and a drop in advertising revenue, according to SF Gate.

San Francisco workers will still have access to a co-working space in the city, Snap told Bloomberg.
