Santee Teen Escapes from Would-Be Kidnappers
Sheriff's deputies released a sketch of one of two men who allegedly attempted to kidnap an 18-year-old Santee woman.

SANTEE, CA - Sheriff's deputies are looking for two men who allegedly attempted to kidnap an 18-year-old woman earlier this month in Santee.
According to authorities, the 18-year-old woman parked her car at Mast Park in Santee on Oct. 6 to walk to a nearby coffee shop.
When she was walking back to her car around noon she noticed that she was being followed by two men in a silver sedan.

The man in the passenger seat of the sedan was “cat calling” her. As the woman walked faster, the sedan with the two suspects sped up, according to reports.
The 18-year-old ran to her vehicle and unlocked the door when the passenger who was still seated in the sedan grabbed her arm. She was able to pull her arm away from the suspect’s grip, get into her car and lock the doors, according to deputies.

The two men continued to drive around Mast Park parking while the female drove away.
Deputies describe the suspect in the passenger side of the silver sedan is described as a Black male, between the ages of 20‐30 years‐old. He was last seen wearing a black baseball cap and black sunglasses.
