Arrest Made Following Alleged Assault on Sierra Madre Blvd.

One person was arrested Wednesday after a reported assault on Sierra Madre Boulevard, though details of the incident were scarce. 

The altercation took place in the 300 block of Sierra Madre Boulevard at about 2:30 p.m. on April 10, according to a sergeant at the Sierra Madre Police Department. 

The sergeant said the victim and assailant did not know each other. 

"A 'Jane Doe' was involved so we aren't releasing any details on this matter," he said, adding only that the victim was checked out by fire department personnel and did not require any medical treatment. 

The assailant whose name was not released was arrested for a misdemeanor.
