Bike to Work Thursday (Energizer Stations Mapped Here)

Local businesses, bike advocacy groups and city officials will set up special stations around Sonoma on Thursday morning to encourage bikers to leave their cars at home for Bike to Work Day.

Energizer stations will be set up throughout the county, including three at sites in and around Sonoma. At each stop, cyclists can find free snacks and refreshments.

• MacArthur Place, 6-9 a.m. (MarArthur Place Inn & Spa) (Sonoma Valley Cyclery) 
• Hwy 12 and Lornita Ave., across from Maxwell Park, 6-9 a.m. (City of Sonoma) (Whole Foods Sonoma) (Wine Country Cyclery) 
• , 18812 Sonoma Highway Suite C, 8 a.m.-6p.m., Meyer Lemon water, iced tea and coffee for cyclists.

Before you head home, check out the The MacArthur Place Inn and Spa and Sonoma Valley Cyclery's second annual Bike Home Celebration. Meet up with other bikers at the Cyclery, located at 20091 Broadway, at 4:45, to ride en masse to Macarthur Place for food, beer, music and massages in the garden.
