BREAKING: The museum preserves and displays the famous "Peanuts" comic strip artwork and history.

SANTA ROSA, CA — The Charles M. Schulz Museum in Santa Rosa is closed until further notice because the wildfires affecting the city have knocked out its power supply, museum officials said Wednesday. The museum preserves and displays the art of Charles M. Schulz, creator of the comic strip "Peanuts." All of its scheduled public programs, tours and events are canceled through Saturday, museum officials said.

On Sunday, the museum will send out an update regarding the programming for next week. Updates can be found on the museum's social media channels and its website, according to museum officials.
