Congratulations to Our Oscar Winner!

Corey Morton guessed correctly in most major categories.

As the 83rd Academy Awards inched its way to our television sets, San Rafael Patch wanted to get in on the excitement. Starting the Friday before the stars graced the red carpet, we ran a contest:

Our readers entered their choices for best picture, best actress, best actor, best supporting actress, best supporting actor, best director and best original song. Although many of those who commented had good instincts, no one made a grand sweep.

Our winner got five of the seven major categories correct, along with the tie-breaker. Corey Morton, congratulations, we are mailing you a $25 gift card to Lokal for your cinematic prowess.
