Crash, Live Wires Across Pavement Close Calistoga Road
Calistoga Rd is closed between Montecito Blvd. and Petrified Forrest Rd. due to a traffic collision involving a big rig and other vehicles.
SONOMA COUNTY - The California Highway Patrol is alerting motorists that Calistoga Road is closed between Montecito Blvd and Petrified Forrest Rd. due to a traffic collision involving a big rig and trailer, and three to four additional vehicles.
According to the CHP, The collision resulted in multiple power poles and live power lines coming down across the entire roadway.
Authorities say it is unknown at this time when the roadway will reopen.

The California Highway Patrol recommends Santa Rosa traffic should use state Highway 12 to northbound US Highway 101 to Mark West Springs /River Rd as an alternate route.
For traffic coming into Santa Rosa from Napa County, it's suggested to use Porter Creek Road / Mark West Springs Road to US Highway 101 as an alternate route.
