Layoffs on the Agenda for Tonight's School Board Meeting

After pending from the , the board will discuss potential layoffs of classified service employees at tonight's meeting.

  • Emma McGee and Jeremiah Zelaya of Sonoma Valley High School and Veronica Sanchez and Mingma Sherpa of Sonoma Valley Adult School will recieve "Student of the Year" awards.
  • Deputy Superintendent Justin Frese will discuss changes to the California teacher credential system.
  • Board will vote on a Sonoma County Easement.
  • Board will vote on various policies and regulations including the proceedures for truancy, health examinations, child abuse reporting and preretirement part-time employment.

The board will meet in closed session starting at 5 p.m. in the , 175 1st Street West. The open session starts at 6:30 p.m.
