DUI: Police stopped a 29-year-old Boyes Hot Springs resident at 1:51 a.m., after noticing his white Ford F150 had a busted brake light. The man, Agie Gilmore, displayed symptoms of intoxication, and a screening showed that he had a .10 blood alcohol level. Police cited him for driving under the influence of alcohol and he was released to a family member.

DUI: At 10:40 p.m., Police stopped Patrick Homan, 24, when he failed to yield to pedestrians at the intersection of West Napa St. and First Street West. Homan preempted police questions when he asked the officer to "skip the formality of the sobriety tests: I've had way too much to be driving." His assertion was correct - his blood alcohol level was .13. He was cited for driving under the influence of alcohol and released.

Theft: After parking his '91 grey Cadillac on the 200 block of First Street East overnight, a 28-year-old man returned at 7:30 a.m. to find that the window had been jimmied open and his iPod had been stolen.

Burglary: Several clothing racks, a table and some rugs were stolen from a business on the 800 block of West Napa Street. A total of $2,100 worth of goods went missing.
Theft: Someone stole a black crochet purse from the cart of an 83-year-old Sonoma woman, while she was shopping at .
