Sonoma County Sex Offenders Targeted in Fake Police Scam
A person impersonating the police has been calling registered sex offenders in Santa Rosa and demanding personal information over the phone.

SONOMA COUNTY, CA -- A police employee impersonator has been calling registered sex offenders in Santa Rosa and demanding personal information over the phone.
Police said Tuesday that the impersonator is calling from a number that has been manipulated to impersonate, or "spoof" a real police phone number.
