But gone are the days when the Girl Scouts had to rely on door-to-door sales to sell the treats. Now, the group's gone high tech to help you with your sugar hunt.

Or, you can also call **GSCOOKIES and sign up for e-mail alerts that will let you know when cookies will be near you, according to the Girl Scouts cookie website.

Girls Scouts will be selling eight cookie varieties this year--Thin Mints, Samoas, Tagalongs, Do-Si-Dos, Trefoils, Lemon Chalet Cremes, Dulce de Leche and Thank U Berry Munch.
