Great Deed: This week's Sonoma Patch Wiz Kid of the week was also honored by Dunbar Elementary School as one a "Student of the Year." Jorge's commitment to academics, coupled with a mature intelligence, has helped him to succeed. Jorge is consistently recognized for his bi-lingual achievement, and has earned several homework and citizenship awards from Dunbar. Not to limit  Even more impressive: Jorge's parents work long hours, so he's developed a strong work ethic to complete his homework independently. A great role model already, Jorge hopes to attend college in the future. 

Key to Awesomeness: Jorge's teachers describe him as quiet, mature and unusual reflective for his young age. One teacher describes him as a model of "perseverance, problem solving, curiosity, leadership and common sense."
