Daylight Savings 2011: It's Almost Time to Fall Backward

This year, we'll turn the clocks back by one hour on Nov. 7.

Daylight Saving time ends on Sunday November 6: It's always the first Sunday in November.

That's the case for South Pasadena, but not in the U.K, where Daylight Saving will end on Sunday, Oct. 30. In fact, there's even a move by theBritish government to scrap it altogether.

Why is it different in the U.S.? According to theHuffington Post, the extended Daylight Saving Time began here back in 2007, after the U.S. Energy Policy Act of 2005.
