Long-time resident Buster Chambers said he’s worried about how citizens’ money is being spent. He voted for , who previously served on South Pas City Council from 1982 to 86 and 2002 to 06.
“He’s been right all along,” said Chambers of Margrave. “I’ve been here 60 years, and he’s been here a long time. Every time we get money to do something, Council never uses the money to do what they say they are going to use it for. The water pipes are bad; everything is bad. I sure hope [Margrave] wins, because it will make a big difference.”

Fair Oaks
Matt Pendo’s votes this year were strongly influenced by the recent
“After this issue here,” said resident Matt Pendo, pointing to Fair Oaks Avenue outside today, “I hope/think it will really wake the people up as far as transparency.”
“I voted for and incumbent ,” he continued.
Measure UT
It was stance on and David Margrave’s stance on that won over 10-year resident Tom Verkuilen.
“Margrave was the only one against the UT,” said Verkuilen, who also voted for “We are in an economic crisis. I know if we have a problem in South Pas, Margrave will stand up to high pensions and salaries.”
