UPDATE: Injured Officer Released From Hospital

Officer Debois suffered minor injuries after a motorcycle collision Monday.

South Pasadena Police Officer, Andrew Dubois, was released Tuesday from Los Angeles County-USC Medical Center with minor injuries, according to

"He has a lot of torn off skin," said Watch Commander Sgt. Robert Bartl. "But it looks like he's going to be OK."

The officer was off-duty—but in uniform—when his service motorcycle collided with a BMW sedan on Mt. Baldy Road near Fergus Falls as he headed home around 6:30 p.m. Monday,

Dubois suffered injuries to both elbows, a leg and road rash on a shoulder. But no bones were broken, said Bartl. He was released from the hospital around 11:30 a.m. Tuesday.
