1 Dead, 1 Hospitalized In Union City Crash

The crash on Monday disrupted traffic for a time on Whipple Road.

UNION CITY, CA — One person was killed and a second hospitalized following a crash Monday between a motorcycle and a van in Union City.

The crash was reported around 2:50 p.m. in the 1600 block of Whipple Road.

The passenger of the motorcycle was pronounced deceased at the scene while the driver was transported to a local hospital and was last reported in stable condition.

The driver of the van remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
