BART Simplifies Parking Payments Through App
Riders may pay for their parking with "one tap" on the app home screen.

UNION CITY, CA — After shortening trains and wait times this month, on Tuesday BART rolled out new parking payment options.
Dubbed "Tap and Go," users who download the app can pay for their parking with "one tap" on the app home screen.
Riders should first make sure they have the updated version of the BART app, then create a parking wallet with the vehicle's license plate. Once set up, all riders have to do is hit the "pay now" button and they are, as they say, good to go. Riders no longer need to enter a parking stall number.

BART has also extended its reserved parking purchases to the agency's website, for those who either can't use the app or prefer not to. Daily parking must still be purchased through the app or at machines inside stations.
