Bicyclist Injured In Union City Crash

UNION CITY, CA — A bicyclist received serious injuries Thursday afternoon in a collision with a vehicle in Union City. The bicyclist, who has not been identified, was taken to a local hospital by ambulance. No other injuries were reported. The cause of the crash is under investigation.

A Union City police spokesperson said the crash happened at the intersection of Union City Boulevard and Horner Street in the Alvarado District shortly after 2 p.m.

The driver of the vehicle remained on scene and is cooperating with the police investigation.
