Witnesses Sought In Union City Crash
The collision sent a pedestrian to the hospital with major injuries.

UNION CITY, CA — Union City police need the public's assistance in its investigation of a major traffic collision that occurred late Thursday afternoon between a vehicle and a pedestrian.
The pedestrian was taken to a local hospital with major injuries.
Officers responded to the collision at 4:07 p.m. at the intersection of Whipple Road and Medallion Drive.

The driver remained on scene. Police said it appears the driver was not under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
The intersection was closed for several hours while police continued their investigation.
