Hundreds in Venice Lose Power in Outage

The Los Angeles Department of Water and Power says power should be back by 8:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Several hundreds customers lost power Tuesday night in the vicinity of Washington Boulevard and Via Marina in Venice.

A crew was working to fix the outage that left 699 customers without power and electricity should be restored at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, according to an online update by the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power.

Power service was fine on the far western end of Washington Boulevard with a staffer at Nick's Liquor Store at 11:55 p.m. saying the lights were on.
