Cinco De Mayo Fatal Hit-And-Run: Watsonville PD Update Car Description

Police confirmed the type of car they say hit and killed a 24-year-old man.

WATSONVILLE, CA — Watsonville police on Thursday updated the description of a vehicle involved in a fatal hit- and-run on Cinco De Mayo.

"We have now determined the vehicle that struck and killed a 24-year-old Watsonville man is a dark-colored sedan, not a white 4-door sedan.," police said

The initial report said a witness saw a white sedan drive away toward state Highway 1 after hitting the man.

It happened in the 1900 block of Main Street around 10:30 p.m.
