Hundreds Of Dolphins Race Off Of Monterey Bay: WATCH
The stunning interaction among the dolphins was captured on video by the local aquarium.

MONTEREY, CA -- Hundreds of dolphins were recently spotted off the California coast, racing and jumping through the waters. The stunning interaction was captured on video and shared on social media by the Monterey Bay Aquarium.
In a Wednesday Facebook post, Aquarium officials wrote that the dolphins, "hot on the tails of billions of baitfish," have been spotted in recent days in the area. The video posted online was taken on Labor Day.
The Facebook post received more than 10,000 likes, 5,000 shares and hundreds of comments from people in awe of the video.

"I’ve had the privilege of seeing this many dolphins - it is beyond awesome!" Jeannine LeCompte wrote.

"I’ve been out there when the dolphins were beside our boat just like that while we were heading out to go fishing," Humphrey wrote. "It was awesome. Something I will never forget."
