Elbert County Partnership Supports the EC Wranglers on the Elbert County Fair 4-H Youth Program
Elbert County Partnership and EC Wranglers raised $30K+ to support 4-H youth and donate meat to the Kiowa Food Bank and local churches.
The Elbert County Partnership was proud to partner with the EC Wranglers last weekend on the Elbert County Fair 4-H youth program. Twenty-four sponsors donated a collective $30,650 to support 18 kids in the EC Wranglers program to participate in the 4-H Junior Market Sale.
The proceeds allowed the EC Wranglers to purchase six animals and donate add-ons to 12 kids. We are happy to share that two of the cows purchased will be processed, stored and provided to the Kiowa Food Bank and two churches in our local community.
A special thanks goes out to those who make EC Wranglers and the 4-H youth program a success. This includes EC Wranglers co-founders Jim Yates and Elle Ethington of Craft Companies and Sean Tonner from the Elbert County Partnership, Tim Craft of Craft Companies, Tammi Schneider and Will White of the Elbert County Fair Board, and Kristin Cross as the Independence Community Activation Collaborator.
