Elk Rescued From Lawn Chair Outside Colorado Home
A Colorado Parks and Wildlife officer knew just what to do when faced with the uncommon ordeal.
IDLEDALE, CO — It's not uncommon for animals in the Colorado wilderness to find themselves in unique positions.
Wildlife are known to get caught up in swings, hammocks and netting, according to the Colorado Parks and Wildlife Northeast Region office. But lawn furniture? That does not happen as often.
Somehow, a cow elk found her way into a lawn chair outside a home in Idledale recently. The wildlife group shared photos on Twitter that show the elk with its neck and legs stuck around the arms and legs of the chair.
