Missing Colo. Mom: Charges Filed Against Fiancé of Kelsey Berreth
Patrick Frazee, the fiancé of missing mother Kelsey Berreth, faces murder and solicitation for murder charges, the DA's Office said
TELLER COUNTY, CO– Patrick Frazee, the fiancé of missing Colorado mother Kelsey Berreth, 29, was formally charged Monday in Teller County District Court, the District Attorney said in a press conference.
Although the flight-instructor's body has not yet been found, Frazee is being held in Teller County jail on no bond. He was charged today with two counts of first-degree murder and three separate counts of solicitation for murder, 4th Judicial District Attorney Dan May said Monday.
May did not say whether any other people were facing arrest in the case, although last week Woodland Park Police Chief Mile DeYoung said there might be other arrests forthcoming in the case.

Law enforcement agencies from Idaho, where Berreth's cell phone "pinged" 600 miles from her home, as well as the Colorado Bureau of Investigation, the Teller County Sheriff's Office and the FBI have assisted the Woodland Park Police in the investigation.
At the press conference, investigators said they had informed Frazee's defense counsel that some evidence for the case might be destroyed while it was being processed. Last week investigators removed evidence from Berreth's Woodland Park townhome.
Earlier in the month, investigators served a search warrant on Frazee's 34-acre ranch property and seized his pickup truck. They brought cadaver dogs and backhoes to Frazee's ranch, but ultimately said they had not found any evidence of the missing mother, who was last seen on Thanksgiving day.
Frazee is scheduled for a hearing on Jan. 29 to possibly enter a plea. At that public hearing evidence will be presented in court against him, May said and it's possible the documents will be unsealed, May said.
Two sets of grandparents are battling for custody of the couple's 1-year-old daughter in Teller County custody court, but the DA's office said Monday they do not have jurisdiction over that.
Missing for more than a week before report was filed
Berreth was missing for 10 days before a missing persons report was filed. Police were asked to make a welfare check on Berreth by her mother, Cheryl Berreth of Idaho, ten days after she had last been seen.
Frazee told police, through his lawyer, that Berreth brought the couple's baby to him on Thanksgiving Day. Police said three days after she disappeared, text messages from Berreth's phone were received at her employer, Pueblo-based Doss Aviation and Frazee. Investigators said Berreth's phone "pinged" near Gooding, Idaho, about 600 miles from her home in Woodland Park, a small town in the mountains west of Colorado Springs.
On Dec. 11, the Woodland Police Department released a short surveillance video taken Nov. 22 at the Safeway grocery store that showed Berreth entering the store with her baby's car seat and loading the seat into a grocery cart.
Kelsey Berreth was employed as a flight instructor for Doss Aviation in Pueblo.
